Stand for You ..
Another new recent favorite ... the Lord has been speaking to me through music much in the last few weeks.  We were able to see him in concert a couple of weeks ago too!   We have a few more to attend in the next two months.

Life has seemed to be a long, perpetual, continuous trial ... thankfully I have the Lord to depend on, not sure how people do it who have no faith, no hope ...

I've recently been done wrong (at least to me) by Christians.  Ones who profess quite vocally  ... the sad part?  If I had not already had a walk with Jesus Christ, after recent events, I seriously doubt I would even desire to be one. What's worse, is that unbelievers have mentioned to me and asked me, how they can do that being a Christian.   We're human -- we're not perfect.  In a way now, I can "see" why some people are so turned off by "so-called Christians".  Definitely doesn't mean we have take the blows time and time again ... you don't have to take abuse from people without sticking  up for yourself.  You just have to take care of it in the right way.   Honesty is probably always best and bringing it out into the open...and letting them know.  What they do with it from there, is their problem.

Lord have mercy on my soul -- if I ever have that type of impact on someone ... its made me more aware of every word spoken or action taken ...

Busy November -- hospital stay for Stephen, work trip to Texas, hopefully trip to Texas for wedding ... and lots of work due to losing two people in my section.  Oh, and its that time of year again -- total PET Scan on 15 November ... sigh.  In Jesus Name all will be clear.

6 May 2010
Thought I would take a moment to check in ... its been a rough few weeks.

Michelle needs some constant -- it's like its one new season of life after another this past year.

I go to the hospital on May 21st for a PET Scan.

Believing and trusting God for it to be clear -- it's really all I have.   Appreciate the prayers.
I've started stressing already ... and I have over 15 days to go ... then I go see Dr. S on the 27th for results.
(deep breath)

Stephen has been working almost every evening and hub doesn't get home till about 8pm.   Needless to say the house has been VERY quiet.    I'm adjusting.  One of the main problems I have is meals ... no need for dinner that late.  So, we'll see ....

Stephen has an appointment at KU on Tuesday morning, and then graduates on Saturday.
So glad I don't have to deal with the whole high school thing anymore-- college is so different.

Might I add, please don't ask me "when I am having surgery" -- I am all too aware of what I lost -- it really doesn't bother me until someone asks me, which makes me think they are trying to "picture" what i don't have it or something triggers when looking at me.  Please, just give me a small break.   Please don't ask me how I am -- or how the cancer is -- I thought you believed God healed me.  At least that's what you say one minute.

I think I need to move .... just to have people who don't know me.  Oh, and my hair is LONG, its not been cut and just because it isn't as long as yours doesn't mean that I have done something wrong.  Or I am not in the right according to "our standards"   God knows that I never laid a scissor to my hair, never pulled it out ... but of course it had to come out.   I'm sorry that the prayers were never answered regarding losing it, but I actually never lost all of it.  I didn't want to lose my hair -- for many reasons -- and to be honest later on after losing it, I didn't want to deal with those who would judge me for the decisions we made.

You can't know what you would do unless you walk the same path and are faced with the very same decisions as someone.  I can think all I want to about what I would do .... but unless I am faced with it, I don't know.

I seriously thought 'all the drama' was over -- I want to go on and live my life and do the very best for God that I can.  I want to make my life count -- which was my prayer this morning.  I am no hero, I am scared -- I'm a tad weary -- but my strength truly comes from Him.

Ok -- enough of that.  Can they just give me a break??   Their words need to stop at their brain before they leave their mouth.

Let's go on and live life, live for the Lord and follow the paths He has for us...in harmony.

K ?

Interesting weeks ...
I have had an interesting couple of weeks -- work has been busy because a new class just arrived and getting all that completed makes you brain tired on top of the long days and evening events.

I got a little careless with germs, so I am fighting a cold.  But thankfully that's all it is.  I don't feel too whoopy.  I need to get tires put on tomorrow morning and then I think I will chill at home for the rest of the weekend and get some rest.

We are supposed to get more cold weather and possibly snow on Sunday.  Everything is already grey, wet and muddy as it is.

I've become a "fairy godmother" in the last few weeks, I have been "cursed" by a woman who needs the Lord.  Her words are nothing because she has no power behind it. I am still working around the anger part of it.  Not sure what I will do when I meet her face to face again.  People need to look in their own backyard before they start worrying about what is in someone else's.

My co-worker has decided to stay with our organization, so I was glad of that.  No changes there.

My Level 1 Certification was approved for my job.   I did the course while going through chemo -- and it was doubly hard -- because I did have some chemo brain to deal with.  I'm glad that's over.   I won't be eligible for Level II unless I have a bachelor's.  I have an associates and lots of credits over that but I am not willing or wanting to put the money towards that right now.   It's definitely not a need.

Our mudroom wall had a fire in it -- an electrical fire -- so thankful that it ended up being a small thing rather than a HUGE thing.   I may want a "nicer" house but not at the expense of losing life or memorable stuff.

... working on decluttering ... the last 8 months are really a blur and most things got put to the back burner.  I had to just let a lot of things go.  I just couldn't physically handle much of it.  I'm still struggling with not feeling well.  It scares me a bit.  But I am trusting God.  I think all the damp weather is a major factor.   We haven't seen the sun for days.

Lexi had a job interview on Thursday -- its one she has been waiting almost a year for.  Please pray that the Lord opens the door on that.  That would be just awesome.

Roy turned 50 on Valentine's Day -- need to make plans for that!   He's been a huge help to me.  Last night he helped me clean out fridge, wash dishes, fold clothes and sweep...I didn't feel great but I so wanted it cleaned up a bit.  Lexi was babysitting so she was gone and I had been gone the last 2 nights for work.

Not much else going on .... met some really neat new international officers.   I really love that part of my job.

Home in the morning ...
Thankful to be going home tomorrow.  It's been a little nice to have a break from home (and give them a break from me...) but I am SO READY TO GO HOME.

I like home.  I enjoy being at home with my husband and family.

Miss my goats and animals.  It's actually been a little easier missing Taco, but as soon as I drive down that road, I know I'll be missing that little guy again.  {sigh}

Thank you for your prayers for safe travel and our family.  Please pray for the goats with the pink eye, she is temporarily blind and hurting.  She has to be scared, poor girl.  I just can't be an animal person I guess cause it breaks my heart to see them suffering.

Had my oncologist office, the radiation office at St Luke's, the surgeon's office and the physical therapist specialized in lymphodema all call me in the space of about 90 minutes -- SCARED ME.   Ugh.

As always, I am thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ, His saving grace and healing power.

Thankful Thursday on Friday ... and ramblings

I was just looking at the small slideshow I put together and so many thoughts went through my mind.   Its early here, Stephen just left for school and everyone else is asleep.  I miss my routine at work, because it fills the day time hours with thoughts other than stupid cancer.  I plan on making a schedule for my next 4 days off to fill the time, there is much to do.  I am doing better than I was last week.  God is on the throne, my life is in His hands, nothing I can do to change that.  My faith and trust are in Him.  Always.

I scored big yesterday at the Bargain Factory in regards to the carnival.  I went to town to go to the bank and visit my co-worker Beckie, and stopped at the church to pray and then headed there.  I wasn't going to go, but glad I did now.  A simple prayer on my way there was, Lord, please let them have something good for the prizes for the carnival.  So simple, and yet answered in a great way.  I scored big on coloring books that have either paint, crayons, little skateboards, magic wands, magnetic stickers etc on the front.  3 for $1.00!   They were all the favorite kids character ones.  They also had Old Fashioned Candy Sticks ... 5 cents each.  Woah.   Picked up 80 for that price.  They will be good for those small tickets left in their hands.  As I was checking out, I told the lady if she could do a separate receipt because these were for church.   She asked me if I saw the case of licorice for $4.99?   Case?  Uh, no.  She said there is one left.  I was right in that aisle picking up other items.  Yup, a whole case of individually wrapped Sour Punch Straws.  There were 6 tubs of 225 each, you can't even touch one of those at Sams for $8.00.   These will be great for the fishing booth.   Thanks Lord!!!

They also had Oregon Chai Tea Latte concentrate for $2.29 -- regular, vegan, and sugar free!  All organic.
We enjoy that in the winter, I need to go back and get some.  They have Tazo at Costco and its about $7 for three, so its a little less expensive.  I prefer the organic because it doesn't use the white refined sugar and has honey.

I was looking at the wedding photos and saw so many photos of Josh and Joanna.  It didn't matter to him so much that it was his wedding day, but a little girl needed comfort.  She was pretty scared on the wedding day.  Not many photos have her smiling until after the ceremony!  Silly girl.  There are lots of photos with Josh holding her.

There's a smile.  Love that girl.

Josh has done well, the Lord has blessed his desire to live a holy life.

I'm thankful for him today, his faith through my trial. I can't tell you how many times, I've heard -- God's taken care of it. When I found out the lymph nodes were clear, I was talking to Sarai and she asked if I told Josh. I told her yes, I texted him, but haven't talked to him. I said, no point, because he'll just say, I could have told you that Mom! Which is exactly what he said later that evening. Goof.

Love these boys.  A trash can background?  LOL!

Thankful for friends and their encouragement ... sometimes its been a very lonely road, but ... it's all good.

Joanna with her bag of candy from the buffet.

Our photographer adjusting Charlie's clothes.  His brother Joseph took quite a few photos.  I haven't seen any of Joseph yet in the files.  I wanted one of him too.  He was a huge blessing.

Yes, I know -- lots of photos of Josh, but I am the mother of the groom ... LOL!  There are so many photos -- it will be impossible to even share a small portion of them.  Thankful for photo memories.

As always, thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ, His saving grace and healing power.  He's an amazing God, and I'm so thankful He chose me to serve Him.  I'm thankful for His trust in me ... I can do anything with Him by my side and of course carrying me a lot of the way.

Time to go walk and start my list.

Pray for the hub today ... sick.   Blah.  IJN not the flu.  Of course, since he has the next four days off and we have a list to get done, he'd get sick.  Figures.  There is a lot on our plate right now ... and time is in short supply.  (and energy!)

Thankful for Homes
We used to have a dozen of so cats living around the house and barn ... and there would be no mice or snakes that even thought about coming around. Due to life and the elements of living outdoors, we were down to a couple. One of them, the main Mama Cat, we called her "No Name" (that was her name!) just had a litter of kittens about two weeks ago. Last weekend, hub found the kittens and kept saying, he hadn't seen No Name. This went on for a day and he brought them in the house to Lexi.

Not really thinking that No Name was actually ... gone. Well, she is. We have no idea what happened to her. When I saw her last, she looked fine. Something must have gotten her. How sad. She's been around 4 years or so.

Lexi has been bottle feeding the kittens ... it seemed too cruel to just let them starve and die out there. Well there are 5 of them, and taking care of 5 of them is A LOT OF WORK. We decided yesterday, that they just had to go.

All the while thinking, no one is going to take these kittens! They'd have to be nuts. Well, Lexi called a few places we knew from adopting barn cats before. No success. So, I put an ad on Craigs List. We told them the absolute truth -- we all work full time -- no one is home all day to feed them, and they are just not getting the care they need. And we added some prayer for homes into the mix.

Amazingly -- emails started coming in. Josh and I took three to a lady named Meagan, who actually had a dog in the back she took because someone was going to shoot it. He looked like a great dog. She has some nursing mama cats who will take care of them.

During our trip to KC -- Lexi got a call for the one who looked the most like No Name. We met her at Target - it was dark out there! -- and I got to smooch the little thing good bye. It really was sad to see her go.

We have one still at home .. not sure Lexi can let her go -- but we have takers! The one at home is a fat little white and grey one, who was very upset about being left alone and cried and cried last night. We put the dog's stuffed animals in there with her. =)

I wish I would have gotten some pictures. Lexi may have.

I am so getting my OWN cat after surgery and stuff. A MALE cat -- our very first cat, P.C., is still greatly missed. Josh, Stephen, hub and I all LOVED that cat. He roamed around and slept in the mudroom in his cat bed at night, he was a great cat. He did get hit by a car about a mile away from home, I saw him there on the highway. Ugh. Horrible. I made (begged!) hub to go get him and pick him up and bury him. He did. He loved him too. =)

We lost PC and Little Cat -- so I need a male cat of my own.

Just don't tell my hub yet ... I'll have to work on him.

Thankful Thursday -- The Shadow

Laurie at Women taking a Stand is hosting this week.
As always, first and foremost, I am thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for His saving grace and healing power! I am so thankful that He turned everything that we thought was bad into something good. Someone had to get these doctors to check inside! {sigh}
Working on gaining my strength back and my body healthy for this surgery. I have been diligently researching supplements (those made from organic food sources and processed correctly!) to assist. This cancer has made a total life change, and I'm thankful for that. God knows what He is doing, cause we sure don't!!
The Pastor spoke about Psalm 23 last night -- he said I have only been walking in the shadows..
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Thankful for my husband -- his patience and help these long almost 6 months!
Thankful for all those who have prayed for me and continue to pray for me.
Thankful that the Lord worked a huge blessing in Josh's employment. A huge raise and more responsibilities with educational benefits and a huge opportunity to grow and improve. He works for a non-profit agency and is now the sole IT person. They have a ton of nurses and he is on call 24/7 to assist. They reimburse him for that time as well. It's a huge blessing. He gives God the glory for it. He has been a "cheerful giver" -- and God has rewarded him. He loves this field of work so thankfully this has all been worked out. God knows what He's doing. =)
Jeanine is going to come down next week and spend the entire day with us. Can't wait!!
Thankful that things have been quiet -- we all need a chance to rest and re-group. There's much to be done, that got put on the back burner due to the chemo treatment side effects, but it will all get done in time.
Also thankful that the M&M Babies are growing and doing so well!! They are so close to 3 lbs now.
Thanks Lord for all you have done and doing for us!!

1 day left ... HELP!

(kidding!) Uh, maybe. Didn't make it home until after 11pm last night ... I am wore out. Most of the sanctuary is decorated thanks to some amazing ladies. I wish we could just "wish away" all the stuff after the ceremony is over. Not happening. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me ... right?

Quite a big list for today ... last minute house clean up, Kansas City run for perishables, pick up Josh's suit, find light blue tissue paper (not be to had!!), white shoes for Josh, pick up hub's suits, find a cream colored scarf for my head, (trying really hard to be comfortable in the wig ... and no blue dress for me. I guess I should have started months ago, but ... so it will be a cream skirt and jacket with a light blue blouse); decorate reception hall, cook rehearsal dinner, set up tables and such, serve and clean up. Pick up candelabras. Hopefully get my car back from the shop!

Run to Wal-Mart and Aldi's ... I''m sure there's more. I'm hoping my hub will do the KC run for me.
I did get my eyebrows fixed yesterday, they look so much better, not quite like a chemo patient ... thanks to Sarai for leading me to someone who has experience working with peeps losing their hair and such. She said my eyebrows would come back slower than my hair.

And my incoming hair looks like quite a bit of grey ... I was really hoping for COLOR. We'll see, its really hard to see.

Lexi's family from Texas came in ... she is so excited. God made that possible, without a doubt!
They took Josh and her shopping. That's always fun. =)

I feel like I'm forgetting stuff, but I have my list ... and pray not!

Its supposed to be a cool, clear day tomorrow. Thanks Lord!!

(Photos are of some I've looked through in the last few days ... me with hair and hub, Mini, Josh's faithful companion, Stephen who played Taps solo for the Veteran's Day parade during the plane flyover and his band teacher giving him the Ok sign (he did an awesome job!), and Josh & W.D. during that amazing Easter performance a couple of years ago, there was not a dry eye in the house!) (and the photos uploaded backwards ... ) sigh

The US Military is amazing...

Yesterday I requested prayer for one of our officers -- but I have to give a High-5 to the US Military and how they came together to help this officer in his time of need.

One of the things I loved about the military is their sense of family and how they took care of their own. To be honest, they go above and beyond regular family and even how church families help each other. I don't know if its always been this way, but I know it was when I served and by yesterday's evidence, it is still going strong.

One of the officers' staff group spent the entire night with him. He got the call in the evening on Monday, the chaplain came as well, but another officer stayed with him the entire night. They were here at 0700 -- bringing him here so that our PAC could help him get a flight home. They raised over $2600. dollars in about 2 hours. Amazing. One officer after another from his staff group came up here to be with him, hug him and offer any support that could give. They were amazing to me -- and he not really being "one of their own", but in a sense he has become one of their own. He is still flying back home to his children ... its going to be a long, long road ahead for him.

A huge High-5 to the US Military, who really do take care of their own.

Lots of last minute wedding things to be done ... here's hoping I'm better by this weekend.

Stephen started his first day of his Senior year this morning. He was up at 0530 after not being able to fall asleep till 1am last night. He will be wiped out tonight and he has a full day ahead of him. The pups are going to be sad, because they will be kennel bound all day now. Taco is back to normal, which is a relief. He gets up whenever I do in the middle of the night to use the bathroom ... I'm sure he'll make up for being sleep deprived today.

Josh has his bachelor party this weekend -- paintball! Hosted by Lexi's dad. I thought that was super nice, because Stephen, uh isn't able to do it! The main problem will be transportation out there. Alot of people think because we live outside of the city limits that we should be the taxi service -- but uh, we already pay extra in gas for that. Its kind of sad in a way, because if we don't transport they don't come. I guess that just shows how much they care to come! {eyeroll} Sorry, that is sore subject, but still the truth. Their thought is well its not that much, okay, then if its not, then you drive it. I keep trying to find that money tree they think I have planted on our land somewhere, but I sure can't find it. LOL!

Lexi's bridal shower turned out really nice. Her maid of honor lives out of state so the ladies of our church stepped in and gave her a lovely one. She received a bunch of nice gifts! Lots of good food and fun games.

And I really am not cranky today, but what goes around, comes around. LOL. I'm really not cranky, maybe if I keep telling myself that, I won't be? I'll just blame it on the meds and lack of sleep. I've been skipped for some things at work because of this stupid cancer treatment. That does make me cranky. Its not fair. Grumble.
My co-worker lost her brother last night, please remember them in prayer. {sigh}
Its a quiet day here at work. Its been raining again, and I think we've had enough for this week!
Thanks for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated. God is good.

1:11 am
The fair is over ... I only worked until about 6pm today -- and even then I don't think I was that much help. Had a rough night and day -- this treatment has knocked me flat. I made it home and to the couch where I stayed until now. Ugh! It really took everything I had to get done what I did out there. I really need the number to that semi that hit me on the way past ...

I asked my hub, why now when I did really well with the other two treatments like this? Been having chest pains, extremely high blood pressure and constant nausea, body aches, headaches, and fatigue. It's been fun. Uh, not! God is still good and I am thankful He is here with me.

I did meet two cancer survivors out there this week - that was a joy of the week. I want to be like that, and not be afraid to encourage others struggling through this season of life. They both gave me a place to go to for help with a wig. And it was the same place! I need to find a dress for the wedding. I have a loaner, but its not the right color. I know what I would like to wear but can't find it!

Lots to do in the coming two weeks and I need to be well. Please pray a quick turn around with this mess. Lexi's shower is Monday and her dad wants to give Josh a paintball bachelor party. That should be fun for them.

I ate a frozen dipped banana today at the fair -- and it was yummy! You definitely have to like bananas to enjoy it. Stephen does not care of bananas, but Josh and hub do. I've tried to avoid most of the fair food and did really well.

I did get a bite of the Fried Twinkie and it was yummy, like a big warm donut. Life is meant to be enjoyed -- and you can still be healthy as long as you don't eat 2 of them! Its all about how much you consume and of course what you eat, but you also need to be moving and not sitting on your seat all day. Getting up and being active is a huge key.

Headed back to the couch ... thanks for the prayers. Covet them this morning. Love Me.

Lots going on this week ...
Today is my mom's birthday, she would have been 88 years old. She passed away on February 18, 2005 at the age of 83. Amazingly her heart just gave out ... she was amazingly strong and didn't struggle with any health issues until her last few years of life. I'm not sure where I fit in the picture ?? {eyeroll}

The fair went well last night ... Fried Snickers were VERY popular. (photos above) We do the Twinkies tonight. I am so going to EAT one before the fair is over. They are not as sweet as unfried, but still not healthy. I'll do better the rest of the day, I have cucumbers and grapes for lunch and a yogurt.

I go for treatment today at 11:00 -- pray no issues or problems, I have 4 days of fair working to do for the work of the Lord. I work tonight, tomorrow and Friday days, and a long shift on Saturday. I just wish it was cooler.

Goat News -- we ended up with 3 does, and 2 billies. My chief, wants a male. Yeah!! No chopping block for him. I'm not sure if he wants Bandit or the colored one (who I did not name)
I did name the girls -- Madeline, Juliette and Lacy. Maddy is the littlest white one, and Lacy is the colored girl. My husband just rolled his eyes. LOL! I'm not sure where I pulled their names out either. Bandit has gotten HUGE already. I was hoping the other 2 would have had babies, but not this time. We will breed again in November. Lots of goats at the fair though.
I'm hoping to get some photos this weekend. Better ones.

M&M Babies -- please continue to pray for them. Miquel is supposed to have surgery today on his teeny, tiny heart.

I need to find twinkies for a good price today ... so say a prayer for that if you would.

And 17 days and counting to the wedding! I am so NOT ready. Pray it turns out beautiful anyway.

Goats on Sunday
Josh had a good birthday yesterday -- he had some friends over and Lexi, they played football and board/card games and ate and laughed. He was happy with it. He's a good guy -- always has been appreciative of what he is given -- he's not an expector.

This week is the County Fair and our church has a booth. We will be helping this year, our super-hero brother who normally does 99% of it had surgery and is limited, so we will need to fill his shoes, and they are pretty big shoes. Most of the week will be spent there. I have chemo on Wednesday -- but will be fine by the grace of God.

The kids and hub brought the babies inside. We ended up with 3 does and 2 billies. Of course Bandit is a billy who is super huge and cute and one of the colored ones is a billy. (sigh)

Here's Lexi with Bandit (white) and the colored billy. Isn't he pretty? One of the white does (who don't have a very good mama and the 2 colored ones) The doe cries like crazy when you pick her up. We are keeping all the does. The colored one with the white on his head is the billy.

These are the two does from Knees, and the colored doe. The billy is going behind the chairs.
Not the best photos, my lens is messed up ... I need a new one or need to get it repaired. I have a few lens on my wish list. But in time ...
Have a blessed day -- and pray for a good turnout for the fair, we serve grilled corn, walking tacos and fried snickers, fruit boats and drinks.

22 days and counting ...
Last time I checked we had 3 months until the wedding, now its 3 weeks! I feel like we have a list a mile long ... but it's 90% things we couldn't have done any sooner anyway. (sigh)

I've just recently found my friend Jeanine from Colorado on Facebook and she lives in St. Joe, Missouri now. (about 45 minutes from Leavenworth) And she's coming to the wedding!

I'm super excited to make contact with her again, although we live a little far to hang out, which is a bummer because I don't have someone like that in my life right now. I miss doing "things" with another sister in the Lord. Too much alone time means too much thinking. :(

She's an artist and super talented and has some things in a show later this month, I hope to get up there and see it. We're blessed to own (been given!) some of her work. She's who I rode horses with in Colorado.
Stephen's 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Espinosa had asked me to make a mule for a program that they were having at school. I can't remember what the play was about but I do remember the fun we had making the mule. Totally her creativity. This is Jeanine and Ol' Sal.

I could NEVER have done that myself -- I helped her rather than she helping me. We hauled that thing to the school in the back of a UHaul truck and rolled it down the hall. I remember Mrs. Espinosa walking out of her class and seeing the mule, and just standing there with her mouth open, totally speechless. She loved it and begged to keep her.

Good times -- I am super excited!!! I can't wait to see her again.

Oh -- Knees delivered today .. and she gave birth to 2 goats!! Lexi and I hope one is a girl because we are going to work on getting hub to let us keep her. Lexi came over the other night and sat in the field with Bandit in her lap. Its such a peaceful feeling to cuddle one of God's little critters.

Thursday Thoughts ...
First, please continue to pray for Miguel and Micah -- they are having brain bleeds, which from what I've read usually happen in micro preemies. I have also read that alot of the time, they resolve themselves. Let's just pray for that -- they are in critical condition, but stable.

Their grandmother has a video/photos with music if you would like to see them. They look HUGE in the photos, they are NOT huge. Teeny, tiny little guys. She is a professional photographer and did an amazing job. Miguel and Micah

Saw the endodontist today who recommended that I just pull the tooth out for various reasons -- now to see if Dr. S okays it? And when. Its still very tender and sore. Not sure they could even pull it in the condition it is in??

Registered Stephen at school today -- I can't believe he's a Senior. Its a sad as well as a happy time.

No new goats, but the guinea eggs are hatching! Going to call it an early night tonight, I am wiped out. Love ya all!

Monday Musings ...
I see the surgeon today -- I've cancelled other appointments, because honestly what was the point? I think there might be a point now. Its looking better. Thank you Lord.

Pray for Stephen today (and me!) he woke up about 530 am with severe chills and feeling really bad, really quick. Pray for his healing and my protection. My immunity is about nil. I don't want to even imagine catching it ...

It will be a busy week with the Lord's help ... the wake for our Brother is tonight, with funeral services tomorrow morning. I'm scheduled to work both Tuesday and Wednesday nights and 2 doctor appointments later in the week.

Our big freezer has been giving us worries since last summer, we opened it last night and some things were soft. We know it needs to be defrosted, so I am going to try and do that today. Please pray it continues to work -- there's too much food to waste/cook. And honestly I'm not sure I am up to the daunting task of all of it ... we have no way of storing it in the other 2 fridges we have.

My husband works today (his day off) (I am off for a military training holiday) so no help there, and with Stephen out of commission ... I'm sunk. LOL!

In our church services, the person at the pulpit might say "God is good ..." and the congregation answers back "All the time."

God is good, all the time. Amen.
